NAMI‘s Mother’s Day Event
Mother’s Day is around the corner!
Join us in celebrating the most important woman in your life with NAMI’s special Mother’s Day event. Calling all mothers in Manitoba to a day of relaxation and appreciation, featuring delicious food, fabulous entertainment, games, and lots of love.
We’ll have music, dance performances, talks, and other delightful surprises throughout the day.

Diversity Career Workshops: May 18th and 20th, 2023
Considering a career in law enforcement?
Consider joining us. The Diversity section is hosting two career workshop days at Police Headquarters (245 Smith Street):
- Thursday, May 18th, 2023
- Saturday, May 20th, 2023
These one-day workshops are designed to introduce you to our organization and provide valuable insight into the recruitment process.
Through these workshops, we will deliver a creative and interactive learning experience for newcomers and people from diverse communities that are interested in careers in law enforcement, foster these ambitions, and provide them with the information and tools to reach their goals.
Information will be provided on volunteer, cadet, civilian staff and police officer career opportunities within the Winnipeg Police Service.
Various activities are scheduled to take place, including interactive case studies, round table discussions, specialized information stations, and some special guest speakers.
Applications will be accepted until April 30th, 2023. Qualified applicants will be subject to a background check. Spaces are limited for this event.
Elmwood Youth Employment Experience Program
Elmwood Community Resouces Centre (ECRC) is organising Elmwood Youth Employment Experience Program
ECRC is organising a youth development experience program. It is a 17 weeks of paid programming resume and cover letter writing, job serarch, interview skills connections to resources, counselling and basic training for success.
