Welcome from the President
Welcome to the Nigerian Association of Manitoba Incorporated (NAMI). This organization comprises Nigerians residing in the province of Manitoba, Canada. The aim and objective of the association are to foster the development of the Nigerian people socially, economically, and politically, while also serving as a medium to provide support to individual members.
I would like to outline the mandate of my administration, which is dedicated to continuing the path of collaboration with all stakeholders within and outside the province. Our goal is to build a strong Nigerian community in Manitoba. We aim to foster unity and friendship among the Nigerian people by actively collaborating, engaging, and consulting with all stakeholders for the benefit of our community.
In order to enhance community engagement, we will serve as a platform where various groups—be they business, social, geo-political, or cultural—can share and agree on ideas that will promote our well-being and presence in Manitoba. Leveraging our numbers as a community, we intend to contribute to the growth and development that will benefit the general well-being of Nigerians in Manitoba.
We extend a warm welcome to all well-meaning Nigerians residing in Manitoba, encouraging them to bring forth their unique stories, rich cultural heritage, and traditional values. Together, let us showcase the beautiful diversity that defines us as a nation. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Vera Keyede.
President
