We will be having opportunity to present our ideas on matters relating to the Nigerian community immigration issues, design and implementation of our provincial immigration programs through the promotion, recruitment, and retention of new immigrants.

We therefore request for your submission and ideas relating to the following;

– Building on promotion to attract and recruit more immigrants and business investors to the province

-Streamlining the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program, especially with the regards to setting the right balance between the province’s regional labour market, economic development and community needs; and

-Fostering Manitoba’s settlement and inter gratin programs and services, as well as foreign credentials recognition programs, to encourage labour market attachment, improve foreign credential recognition and bolster immigration retention.

We call on all Nigerian Associations;

The Umunna, Egbe Omo Yoruba, Northern Peoples Forum, and Edo/South-South Community for their respective views and ideas as itemized above.

We urge you to kindly send your submission to info@nami-mb.ca or gensec@nami-mb.ca on or before April 20th, 2022
